Good Evening!

One of the hardest thing to do when trying to make a Profiit is being patient in waiting for the consequences of your actions to pay off. We live in a society of instant gratification, and if something doesn’t cause our brain to light up immediately we abandon it in search of the next fix. But really Profiit and success come from a few little decisions that may not pay off for years. The most successful people in the world understand this and are able to wait out the time it takes for the effect to happen, unsuccessful people just look for quick cash, and temporary fixes.

Let me give you some examples from my own experience.

My partner in Legiit, Jim, whom without Legiit wouldn’t have happened… was someone that I met when I sold him a random $16 SEO service on Konker back in 2016. Had I not made that offer , had he not taken it, had I not done a good job and made a connection with him everything in my life and the life of lots of others would be different today.

But it didn’t happen over night… it took 2 years from meeting him to making Legiit a thing, longer than that to make Legiit grow. I could even follow that butterfly effect further back to other small decisions I made that eventually lead to big success.

I met the other coaches in Superstar Academy in the same way… sold them a cheap service and built a relationship. Now there is no magic formula for knowing what cause will lead to what effect…

Cause And Effect

But if you have an endgame (like we talked about a few broadcasts back) and you reverse engineer it you can start finding some of the small choices you can make in service of that goal.

Absent an endgame (I didn’t specifically know I wanted to build a marketplace for example)you can just rely on your sense of what’s right… meaning offer good products and services at prices that are respectful of you and your customers, treat them well, and wait for the universe to reward you (I know it sounds woo woo but it is true).

This applies outside business as well. If you do 10 situps today and eat a salad for lunch you aren’t going to lose your gut and start seeing some abs. In fact you won’t after a week, or a month, maybe even a year depending on where you start from. But if you are patient, and consistent, the cumulative effect (abs) will eventually come from the cause (eating right and exercising consistently).

So don’t expect the effect of your actions to happen right away. Don’t even want it to happen quickly. Put off the gratification as long as you can, take the right actions, make the right decisions, and wait for the payoff.

Do you find yourself having trouble waiting to see the effect of your actions and decisions? I would love to hear your experiences.

Let me know in the Profiit Academy Daily Facebook group.

Talk to you tomorrow!
